Crimond hosted the BriSCA F2 world qualifier round and the National Saloon Stock Cars on Sunday.
The visiting drivers had a mixed day, except in the Ministox and BriSCA F2's formulas where visiting drivers stole the show with impressive top 3 finishes all round. The world qualifier for the F2's saw 2 x drivers venture up from England the much travelled Paul Moss from Cornwall and Cambridgeshire based Craig Driscoll who had a very successful day. Our own Stuart Kelly being the most successful Crimond based driver picking up points in every race. The Saloon Stock Cars battled it out for national points with a few of the visitors finding the tight Crimond oval challenging. Ian McLaughlin and Aaryn Triggs mixing it with top Crimond drivers Ally Strachan and Kes Watson.
As the Hot Saloons again struggled for numbers Bryan Lindsay took full advantage of his white roof position winning the first two heats from Dave Largue. Track champion Mark Farquhar taking the 3rd heat. David Barrack continued his fine form in the Road Goings taking both heats against more than double the amount of cars last meeting, with the road goings providing the close racing all around the track.
The Bangers provided the entertainment once again with Bruce Panton getting back to winning ways avoiding the mayhem around the track.
